These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HealthBuddy AI, operated by Aftermath Designs Limited ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
HealthBuddy AI helps users manage medications, health measurements, appointments, caregiver sharing, location-based safety features, and related wellness tools. The app is provided for informational and organisational purposes only.
Not medical advice
HealthBuddy AI does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You may delete your account at any time from app settings.
3. Caregiver & family sharing
If you share a profile or connection code, you authorise the recipient to access the health information you choose to share for that profile. You are responsible for who you invite or connect with.
4. Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscription terms, renewal, and cancellation are governed by the store you purchased through. Refunds are handled according to store policies.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.
6. Intellectual property
The app, branding, and content we provide are owned by Aftermath Designs Limited or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. The "Last Updated" date shows the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
